Early Detection & Intervention

As no sound falls on their ears the deaf babies are unable to reproduce any particular sound. Maximum development of the human brain takes place by the age of six years. A child acquires different skills like expression, creativity, vocabulary, etc. in its early years.
 

Counselling to parents of newly detected Hearing impaired children is required as it is very difficult for them and their families to accept the fact. They have to be made aware of the use of the hearing aid, early intervention and perseverance is required by the parents for the development of the child.
